Neighborhood Camp Poster

This is a poster I made using Adobe Photoshop for my ward. The theme had to d with light so I found this background and then just did the typography and then imaged trace the map that was sent to me and put there in also. This ended up being a 20x30in poster and I also made them flyers. The flyers looked the exact same except the background wasn't in the flyer. But they layout stayed the same.

Tags and Coupons

TOP: I made these little tags for my moms holiday gift things. It was all Younique product and "Perfect" is one of there products and she was giving out eye makeup, just thought i'd share so that way the design made a some sense.  I just used Adobe Illustrator.

BOTTOM: These are coupons I made for my mom because she needed coupons for a thing and I used Photoshop for this.

Wedding

I made this cover photo for Facebook. Its for those beauty's wedding event. I just used Adobe Photoshop for this, also, yes her name is really spelled like that it is not a typo. Then the one on the left I made just as an image so they could post that with the link to the event page to keep in touch with what was going on.

Brave 2014

I made this design for my Girls Camp for 2014 then ended up going with a different design that was more fitting to the theme. But this was my favorite one and i would have totally worn this again. I used Adobe Illustrator for this before i really knew what i was doing. The wings are a preset. I just had to separate them far enough and then i made the B and the E look the way they do with the black outline.

P.S. Currently I can't find my copy with the white background so sorry that it doesn't look fabulous.

Shirt Design

I made this shirt for fun one day. I just added the words with certain fonts using a website called teespring.com and it was cool. I would love to have this shirt but that doesn't look like it will be happening any time soon.

Cover Photo- Facebook

I made this cover photo for my mom for a Spanish Younique party she was hosting for another lady. I added the words and had to expand the background to go behind the words to give it a continuous feel. I just used Adobe Photoshop for this project.

Cooking Show

For my Digital Media 1 class we had to make a video of our choice. I decided to make a Cooking Show. I'm just going to say, don't take a offense to it because that's not what I intended. I had to film and edit this video and used Adobe Premiere Pro to put it all together. If you saw the video; yes he really ate that, and yes he spit it out afterwards.

Interview

For my Digital Media 1 class we had to make a interview that was 5 minutes long. I decided to make a interview of my friend who dances. I made the video as interesting as I could. I think it was one of the best one's in my class. I filmed and edited by myself and had used Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing.

LowerExpectations.com

I had to make a TV Ad for school. My group decided to do a parody of a dating website commercial and so we made LowerExpectations.com. We had to make a storyboard, a script, and then film and edit it. Every single person in my group edited a different part. I did the final edit, so I put it all in the right order and then added the text and that stuff.

I made this Wall-E for fun. I tried looking at a picture and make it. I think I did a pretty good job especially sense I didn't know how to use Adobe Illustrator when I made it.

SkillsUSA

This is a shirt and pin design I made for SkillsUSA competition for the Utah shirt. I made it using Adobe Illustrator.

Parkinson's Awareness

 This is a Facebook Banner & a Flyer I made for my mom. My grandpa has Parkinson's and was holding a Boutique to raise money. They raised over $1,000 and with the matched funds during April it was more like $2,000. I made the tulips by had, except for the grass/stems. But i thought it was pretty cool looking. Also on the cover photo/banner. If you feel like there is a huge blank space on the bottom its because I took of the address.

Combined Party

 My mom wanted me to make her a Facebook banner and flyer for her combined party she was having. Given the short notice and deadline this is the best I came up with. I only used Adobe Photoshop because those are the tools i needed to make the banner and then later ad the banner to the flyer.

Perfume Advertisment

This is probably my favorite things I have made using Adobe Illustrator. I made all the shapes by hand except for the bottom part with the "Smell Happiness" but either way I am proud of it. I got inspiration for this when I was looking at this K-Pop band pictures that my friend sent me. Interesting, I know. I really enjoy showing this off.

Flaming and Fading

This is a tutorial I had to do for my Photo 1 class. I had thought it was cool so I made a second one trying to represent the joker. I actually made one for the desktop background at my work, but I couldn't find it to post it, but these two will do.

Note: I currently don't know if my teacher made this up or if he found it somewhere. But I will try finding it out.

Ula Sailing Logo

First off, sorry that it's kind of pixelated, it was a rather small image.

So this is another fake company logo I made. I was adding cool effects to a triangle. Then I managed to come up with a imaginary sail boat company. So I made a logo for it. The waves at the bottom is to represent the bottom of the sail boat just in case you didn't know.

A Flower Made of Flowers

I had gotten bored one day during class so I decided I would practice a few things. This is what I did when i was teaching myself the clipping mask tool. Its made out of whole bunch of images from the Sample Pictures on the desktop. With some color changes for the center flower.

Abstract Whale

This is a picture I made for fun using Photoshop CS6. I had used the soft edge brush in 4 different colors. After I got the colors on the "paper" I used the smudge tool to creat this picture. I think it looks like an abstract version of a whale.

Ice, as Ice

This is another tutorial I did for fun using the book "How to Cheat in Photoshop CS6". The book came with a CD that had the background image on it. I made the word ICE using different techniques, such as layers, burn and dodge, paint brush, and more. It was really cool to learn how to do this.

Pear

This is a tutorial we did in Digitial Media 1 to learn the pen tool. I didn't add the arrow that was in the tutorial but I did the rest.

Invites

For my church group I was asked to make some invitations for our Young Women in Excellence night. So that's what I did. I had to gather what time, date, where, and how to dress. So as I was getting ideas of what to do I asked them if they had a theme, which they did, so I came up with a cute owl idea. Sadly i didn't have time to hand make any owls because they wanted them ASAP, meaning that night, I decided to find cute owl images. Then I had to expand the background behind the owl, added the information, and I was done.

Cover Photo

This is a cover photo I made for my mom. She asked me to make a Human Resources collage cover photo for her LinkedIn profile. So I made this really quick so that way she had one to use. I actually would like to make her a better looking cover photo once I have more free time.

Business Card

 These show what I did for my business card. It was the first project I did in Adobe InDesign CS6. The goal was to make a business card for something, so I did what I wanted in a business card. It wasn't at all hard, and quite easy. Anyone could have made this to be honest. But it still made me happy with what I came up with.

Flash Drive

This is the second thing I ever did in Adobe Illustrator CS6. We where learning the basic tools in Illustrator. So my teacher assigned this. It was actually pretty easy and only had a slight problem with the gradients not lining up where I wanted them too.

Girl on Fire

This is one of the first assignments I had to do in my Photo 1 class. I actually had to do it three times due to computer problems. This one was actually not my best, but sadly I have no idea where the best one went, so here's my second best!

This is a tutorial I had to do for my Photo 1 class. This actually wasn't too hard, the only thing was it took awhile to actaully fill in the word jelly because each color is one layer and so it took a while.

Magazine Cover

I had to make a magazine cover photo for my history project that had to do with the 1920's. I made this before I even had the opportunity to use any Adobe product. This was made using Microsoft PowerPoint. I had to get rid of the background which actually wasn't to difficult.

2015 Seniors Shirt Design

This is a t-shirt design I made for the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). It was for a competition that I didn't win, but totally okay with it, because the shirt that did win looks fantastic.

"Retro" Movie Poster

This is a retro movie poster I made for the Digital Media 1 class that I am in. I wanted to make the images so I used this tutorial to make the wine glass and bottle. I had seen the tutorial and I thought it was cool so I worked it into my assignment.

CD Cover

This is an album cover I made for my Digital Media 1 class. I made the Missing you faded because the artist feels alone without his girl friend. Then the color choices to show that he's a man living in a black and white world without her.

Baby Que's Sunflower Seeds

This is a logo I made for my Digital Media one class. I was trying to thing of what I should do the logo for but I couldn't think of anything. So I had been doing random things and made the yellow pattern and came up with this logo.

There's a Cat in the Flowers!

This is a collage I made of my cat using pictures of flowers and leaves. It was assignment for my Digital Media 1 class. It's all made of the same 3 flowers just in different colors, except for the eyes which are made out of leaves.

Family Crest

This was an assignment to redo a family crest. So I chose to do the German side of my family. I didn't want to have the shield have a normal shield pattern so I made a new one! Each color, animal, and accents represent different things for me and some other family members, I made a new motto.

Retouching Photos

These are photos I had to retouch for my Digital Media 1 class. The first image I had gotten rid of the leaves on my Grandpa's face and mad them look brighter. The second image I gotten rid of old photo little dots and added little color. Then the last photo I fixed some rips and white spots, then made him look a little brighter.

Movie Poster

This is a fake movie poster I made for my Digital Media 1 class. This is one of the first things I ever did on Photoshop CS6. I made the man look like he was on fire he was originally just a man dressed up for Halloween at a work party. The pumpkin a family friend had carved and i used some effects to make it look how it is on the poster.

Encased Beetle

This is a tutorial I found in a book called "How to Cheat in Photoshop CS6" It came with a CD that had the images for me. All I did was add the plastic looking effect. Which was actually harder than I had expected. But I was happy with my work!

Apple with an Eye

This is a mixture of another project I did for Photoshop. The original was to mix an apple with a bowler hat. Then I decided to make an apple mixed with an eye, and that is what I did!

Neon Lights

This is an assignment I did for my Photoshop class. The assignment was to have an object, in this case my friend, and have neon lights wrap around it. So that's what I did! I also retouched the photo before I did the neon lights.

9/11 Project

This is a 9/11 inspired photo that I made for a project in 11th grade using only Microsoft PowerPoint. The 2,976 is the number of dead people and the pictures inside each have a meaning. The missing puzzle piece is to represent the people that were assumed dead. The flower in the comma is to represent the flowers put onto the memorial they made for the Twin Towers. The nine has a gun that represents the assassins. Next, the seven has a man crying on the memorial to show how much people had lost. Finally, the six has a plane, for the pilots.
